ASUS ZenBook 13 (UX331UA-AS51) (2018 Version) is a thin and stylish ultrabook which features 8th generation Intel core i5 quad core processor with great specs. Let’s see this ultrabook’s general review.

Thin and Stylish Design

Its thin and lightweight design lets you to carry easily without any weight issues. Suitable for students, businessmen, travellers and people who want to carry their laptop with them. This model weighs around 2.5 pounds and is 0.5 inches thin.

Slim-Bezel NanoEdge Display

13.3 Inch Full HD display is fitted in a frame which has less bezel. With this, you can enjoy more screen display and less bezel distraction. It’s a LED backlit display with Anti-Glare panel. Features ASUS Splendid technology and WideView technology. Overall, you will enjoy crisp and clear Full HD display.

8th Generation Intel Core i5-8250U, 8 GB LPDDR3 RAM, 256 GB M.2 SSD

This model features the latest (at the time of this review) generation, 8th Generation i5-8250U quad core processor. With combined power of 8 GB LPDDR3 RAM and 256 GB M.2 SSD, this model is suitable for almost everyone. But, applications which require more GPU, will not perform that well on this laptop.

With Integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620, you can play low to medium graphic games in low to medium settings. For very intensive works, this model may not be suitable. You have to opt for laptop which features an i7 processor, more RAM and definitely a dedicated graphic card. For that, we recommend you to take a look at gaming laptops section.

Fast-Charge Technology, Takes 49 Minutes to recharge 60% of Capacity

This 2018 version comes with 50 Whrs Polymer Battery, which can give up to 14 hours of battery life in normal usage (according to ASUS). But in general, you can expect around 10 hours of battery life in normal usage.

Fast charging feature is long needed for travellers or the people who has to work on the go. Takes less time to charge, but charge stays for long hours.

Even with its thin design, you can find two USB Type A 3.1 ports, HDMI port, USB Type C 3.1 port and SD Card reader. Good connectivity is what most of the users look for.

Features to Consider

Fingerprint reader, large trackpad, VGA camera (a big minus for this model), backlit chiclet keyboard and Harman Kardon-certified audio system.

Overall, this is a perfect ultrabook for almost all people. Whether its for daily usage, programming, designing, business work or even for running heavy applications. If you want a perfect laptop for basic to moderately heavy tasks, this model is for you.
