Everyday laptop’s design will be normal and this laptop also features a normal design. But the placement of the ports and the shape of the laptop is different. Laptop has bulky sides at the hinge and it get thinner as we move sideways towards trackpad. Laptop surface has spherical-dots design and dot design around the keyboard.
The best part of its design is the placement of the ports. For simple connectivity, few ports have been placed at the back side and few on the side of the laptop. This is an added feature of this laptop.
It weighs around 5.29 lbs and is about 1 inch thin. This is one of the thinnest laptop in its category. Overall, design is simple and normal.
Display:
Watch HD movies and videos on its 15.6 inch HD CineCrystal LED-backlit LCD Display. CineCrystal display is a glossy screen display of Acer which display’s more rich colors than few other display’s like matte display’s. So, you can enjoy even more brighter and sharp colors while watching HD movies or viewing your favorite images.
Display is quite good but webcam resolution is low. It has an integrated 480p webcam and a microphone. 480p resolution is not HD but it is a good resolution for making video calls. You can make clear video calls without any difficulties.
For the price, this display is accepted. Its a common display resolution found in many laptop’s in its price range.
Performance:
This laptop is powered by 6th Generation Intel Core i3-6100U Processor. Intel Core i3-6100U Processor is a Ultra Low Voltage processor which are used in normal laptops. Its performance is above average and it can run more processor demanding applications easily. You can browse the web, listen to songs, watch HD videos or movies, do your office work, this processor can handle.
This processor is slightly similar to 7th Generation Intel Core i3-7100U processor but performs little slower. Acer Aspire E (15 E5-575-33BM) laptop is powered by Intel Core i3-7100U processor.
Best RAM standard for Intel Core i3-6100U processor is DDR3L RAM. So, this laptop has DDR3L SDRAM and that to 4 GB of RAM. A perfect combination of RAM and processor.

As we said earlier, this laptop’s connectivity ports are placed differently. Few of the ports can be found at the side of the laptop and few on back side. Overall, this laptop has all common connectivity features used by everyday laptop users.
At right side of the laptop, you will find one USB 2.0 port, high definition audio supported headphone in/out jack, SD card reader and 8X DVD-Super Multi Double-Layer Drive (M-DISC enabled). On back side, you will find one HDMI port, one USB 2.0 port, one USB 3.0 port, power socket and RJ-45 Gigabit Ethernet LAN port.
For wireless connectivity, this laptop features the fastest WiFi standards (at the time of writing this review) i.e. 802.11 ac featuring MIMO technology. So, you can enjoy even better speeds and signal strength while using 802.11 ac WiFi router. Also has Bluetooth V4.0 for Bluetooth connectivity.
These connectivity options are enough for most of the laptop users.

This laptop comes with a removable 4-cell Li-Ion (3220 mAh) battery which can give up to 6 hours of battery life in normal usage.
